Privacy policy

What we collect and why

• Contact form. Email, phone number and your message, to reply to your enquiry. Legal basis: your consent when you send the form, and pre-contractual measures if you ask for a quote. The form is delivered by Formspree, which acts as our processor and may process data outside the European Economic Area under standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
• Analytics. Only if you accept analytics cookies: pages viewed, approximate location and device type, through Google Analytics. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer. Google may process this data outside the EEA.
• Payments. If you pay with PayPal, PayPal processes your payment data under its own privacy policy. We do not receive your card details. PayPal loads only when you click the PayPal button.
• Server logs. The hosting provider (GitHub Pages) may keep technical logs such as IP address, browser and time of request, for security and operation of the site.

How long we keep it

We keep contact messages for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, and afterwards for the periods required by law. Analytics data is kept according to the retention setting of our Google Analytics account. Server logs are kept for a limited time for security.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, object to its use, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to info@mutexstudio.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority, the AEPD.
